# Adding Roles, Composers & Musical Works Not Yet Listed
### **How do I add a role that isn't listed?**
1. Log in to your account and go to Performance Credits.
2. Select the production you wish to edit.
3. Under Cast & Crew, click Add a profession if you are part of the crew and your profession isn't listed, or Add a role if you are part of the cast and your role isn't listed.
4. Make sure the performance dates are selected, so the role reflects on your repertoire.
### **How do I show that I was a cover or standby?**
1. Log in and go to Performance Credits.
2. Select the production you wish to edit and click Cast & Crew.
3. Identify the role or profession in which you were a cover, and check the box labelled Add a Cover Role.
4. Add your name and click Add.
5. Select the dates you covered, so this reflects on your repertoire.
The role will appear with the word Cover in brackets, to distinguish it from a non-covered role.
### **How do I add a new composer?**
When adding a production, the first step (Production information) asks for musical work details. In that popup, type the composer's name. If they are not on our database, click Add new composer and fill in as many details as possible, so our team can verify the information. Verification can take some time.
### **How do I add a new musical work?**
In the same Production information step, type the musical work. If it is not on our database, click Add new musical work and fill in as many details as possible, including the roles, so our team can verify the information. Verification can take some time.
### **How do I add an artist who performed but doesn't appear in the search results?**
In the Cast & Crew step, identify the role or profession you wish to add a name to, then type the artist's name and confirm they are not already on the database by checking the suggested options. If they are not on our database, click Add new artist and add their name and voice type or profession. Verification can take some time.
### **How do I add a production that isn't on Operabase yet?**
We only list a cast once the company or theatre has published the information on their own website. You can add the production to your schedule once you have confirmation of your participation, but it will not be red masked until the theatre publishes the cast and you submit proof for red mask verification.
