What is Operabase?
Operabase is the world’s largest performing arts database, providing industry access to digital tools that bring artists, agencies, companies, festivals, orchestras, choruses, competitions and audience members together.
Operabase currently has over 6 million global opera audience members and professional users visiting the site on a yearly basis. The professional services vary depending on the category in which one falls.
What is the Casting Tool?
The Operabase Casting Tool is designed to help casting professionals, producers, and artistic teams to plan seasons, cast productions, and find last-minute replacements.

How do I login to Operabase?

Go to www.operabase.com and click on Login.

You can choose to log in using any of the listed options (Google, Facebook, Apple, Email).

If you do not have an account, please follow the registration process to set up an Operabase account.
I've forgotten my password. How do I reset it?

If you select to log in with your email but have forgotten your password, click on Forgot Password?

Enter the email address that you used to register on Operabase and you will receive an email with instructions on resetting your password.

You also have the option to select Email me a login link which generates a temporary link to login.
What do I do with the security code sent to my email?
Enter the code on the Operabase login screen. Never send the code or your password by email — Operabase will never ask for them.
How do I buy tickets?
To purchase tickets for a performance, click the Tickets button on the performance listing. You will be redirected to the theatre or festival's own box office to complete your purchase.
Please note: Operabase displays ticket links as provided by the producing organisation. We do not sell tickets directly and are not responsible for ticket availability, pricing, seating, or any other details of the transaction. All booking information — including availability and performance times — should be confirmed directly with the venue or box office before purchasing.
Can I watch live streams and videos on Operabase?
You can watch live streams and full performance videos on Operabase. Some content is paid and you will be redirected to the appropriate page for further viewing.
The live streams and full performance videos are added to the platform by arts organisations, artists, agents, audience members and verified by our team.
Please note: Operabase provides links to streaming content as listed by the producing organisation. We are not responsible for the availability, quality, or accuracy of third-party streaming services. Please confirm all streaming details directly with the provider before purchasing access.
How do I share my feedback about Operabase?
To share your feedback, if you have a login to Operabase, simply click on the orange 'feedback' tab located on the right of your Operabase webpage. Fill out the feedback form, and we will receive your report. If you do not have a login or prefer to contact us via email, please email us on contact@operabase.com
