What should I do if I find a duplicate of my artist profile?
If you find a duplicate of your artist profile, please email us at contact@operabase.com with details of the duplicates. We will merge your profiles for you.
My name is misspelt. How can I fix it?
To correct the spelling of your name, follow these steps:
1. Log in to your Operabase profile and click on “Profile Info / Photo"
2. Scroll to your name and make the change
My voice type is incorrect. How can I fix it?
To correct your voice type, follow these steps:
- Log in to Operabase
- Go to Manage Profile
- In the left menu, select Profile Info / Photo
- Scroll to the section titled Professions / Voices / Instruments
- From here, you can update your voice type, profession, and other related details, then save
How does this affect Talent Search?
If you add more than one voice type/profession/instrument to your profile, you will appear in Talent Search results for all voice types/professions/instruments you list.
- This can increase your visibility to casting professionals
- However, be sure your selected voice types/professions/instruments are accurate and supported by your performed repertoire
How do I delete my profile?
Operabase profiles form part of the historical record of productions and performances documented on the platform.
If you no longer wish your profile to be publicly visible, you can request that it be hidden by contacting contact@operabase.com.
When a profile is hidden:
- Your profile will no longer appear in Operabase search results.
- Your public profile page will no longer be accessible.
- Your performance history will remain linked to productions and Operabase archives to preserve the accuracy of historical records.
To request that your profile be hidden, please email contact@operabase.com with your name and a link to your profile.
