Managing your representation and contact information
Add and update your representation and contact information details to accurately reflect whom casting directors should get in touch with.
Your contact information
All artists can add, edit and update their personal contact details (email, phone number). The information in this section is visible to casting professionals using the Operabase Casting Tool therefore we recommend that you keep this information up-to-date so that you can be reached.
- Log in to your account
- Click on the Manage profile button
- Navigate to the Contact Information section
- Add your email, phone number and website link
Your agency & representation info
All artists can update their agency representation details.
You can:
- Add an agency that represents you
- Edit representation details of an existing agency
- Edit the visibility settings of the agency/agencies on your profile
The Casting Tool shows ALL approved agencies that have the artist on their roster.
To add an agency to your profile, follow these steps:
- Click on Add Agency and search for the agency on our database.
If the agency is on Operabase:
- Select the agency and select in the capacity in which the agency represents you (i.e. voice type / profession)
- Click the dropdown arrow and add the representation details as well as the agency representative.
- Click Save.
Please note that if you add yourself to an agency, it will not be visible until the agency has confirmed the addition and added you to their roster.
If the agency isn’t on Operabase:
- Type in the name of the agency, if no results are found, click Add new agency
- Fill in the full name of the agency and include their website then click Add
- Select in the capacity in which the agency represents you (i.e. voice type / profession)
- Click the dropdown arrow and add the representation details as well as the agency representative.
- Click Save.
Please note that the newly added agency won’t be visible until our team has validated it which may take some time.

How does a casting / artistic director find my contact information?
Casting professionals and artistic directors can find your agency information through the Operabase Casting Tool. When Casting teams click on the agency name on the Operabase Casting Tool, they are redirected to the agency page, where they can view the agency's office details, contact information, members of the team, and the agency representative and representation information for each artist.
Your agency representation and contact details are also visible on the Artist page when viewed from the Operabase Casting Tool. The information includes the agent representing you, their contact details and the representation information. If you do not have an agency, your contact information is displayed in the Casting Tool site on your profile.
Why do agency contact details matter?
Casting directors and their teams rely on the Operabase Casting Tool for both future production planning and last minute replacements (jump-ins). Accurate contact details are how they can reach you.
Can I customise how my agency information appears on my public profile?
Yes, you can customise the display of agency details on your public profile. Follow the steps provided to customise your agency information:
- Log in to your account and click on "Manage profile"
- Click on the "Contact Information" section
- Find "Your agency & representation info"
- Use the eye icon to show/hide the agency or adjust the privacy settings as preferred
Why add agency details at all?
If you're represented, adding this ensures casting teams can reach you or your representatives directly. With over 10 million annual viewers, visible contact and representation information means more possible opportunities.
