You can now add and update your agency details to accurately reflect whom casting directors should get in touch with. You have full control over which agencies appear on your profile and you can also specify the representation details independently. All changes you make to your agency representation will trigger a notification that will be sent to the agency.
To update this section
Login to Operabase and click on your image / avatar / initials on the top right
Click on the > next to your profile name. This will redirect you to your profile.
Click on Edit to start editing your profile then click on the Representation & Contact Info tab.
Your contact information
All artists can add, edit and update their personal contact details (email, phone number). This feature is available regardless of whether you have a paid subscription on Operabase. The information in this section is visible to casting professionals using the Operabase Casting Tool therefore we recommend that you keep this information up-to-date so that you can be reached.
Please note that only Operabase Artist Premium subscribers can adjust the visibility settings. For non-subscribers, the default visibility setting is casting tool users. This cannot be adjusted unless you subscribe.
Your agency & representation info
All artists can update their agency representation details. This feature is available regardless of whether you have a paid subscription on Operabase.
You can:
- Add an agency that represents you
- Edit representation details of an existing agency
- Show / hide an agency. If you hide the agency on your profile, you will STILL be visible on the agency roster.
- Delete agency representation. This removes you from the agency roster, essentially deleting your association with the agency, which means that the agency will not be visible on the casting tool as one of your contacts.
The casting tool shows ALL approved agencies that have the artist on their roster. So if you opt to hide an agency, it will not have an effect on the agency being shown in the casting tool as your contact. However, if you delete an agency, the agency will no longer appear as your contact on the casting tool as you will no longer be listed on their roster.
To add an agency to this section, click Add Agency and search for the agency on our database.
If the agency is on Operabase:
Select the agency and select in the capacity in which the agency represents you (i.e. voice type / profession)
Click the dropdown arrow and add the representation details as well as the agency representative.
Click Save.
If the agency isn’t on Operabase:
Type in the name of the agency, if no results are found, click Add new agency
Fill in the full name of the agency and include their website then click Add
Select in the capacity in which the agency represents you (i.e. voice type / profession)
Click the dropdown arrow and add the representation details as well as the agency representative.
Click Save.
Please note that the newly added agency won’t be visible until our team has validated it which may take some time.
