Managing your representation and contact information

Add and update your representation and contact information details to accurately reflect whom casting directors should get in touch with.

Your contact information

All artists can add, edit and update their personal contact details (email, phone number). This information is visible to casting professionals using the Operabase Casting Tool, so keep it up to date.

  1. Log in and click Manage profile.
  2. Go to Contact Information.
  3. Add your email, phone number and website link.

Your agency and representation info

All artists can add an agency that represents them, edit representation details of an existing agency, and control the visibility of the agency or agencies shown on their profile. The Casting Tool shows all approved agencies that have the artist on their roster.

If the agency is on Operabase

  1. Click Add Agency and search for it.
  2. Select the agency and the capacity in which it represents you (for example, voice type or profession).
  3. Add the representation details and the agency representative, then click Save.

If you add yourself to an agency, it won't be visible until the agency confirms the addition and adds you to their roster.

If the agency isn't on Operabase

  1. Type in the agency's name; if no results appear, click Add new agency.
  2. Fill in the full name and website, then click Add.
  3. Select the capacity in which the agency represents you, add the representation details and representative, then click Save.

A newly added agency won't be visible until our team has validated it, which may take some time.

How does a casting or artistic director find my contact information?

Through the Operabase Casting Tool. Clicking your agency's name redirects a casting team to the agency page, where they can see office details, contact information, the team, and the representation information for each artist. Your agency representation and contact details are also visible on your Artist page when viewed from the Casting Tool. If you have no agency, your contact information is shown directly.

Can I customise how my agency information appears?

Yes. Log in and click Manage profile, then Contact Information, then find "Your agency & representation info," and use the eye icon to show, hide or adjust the privacy of that section.

Why add agency details at all?

If you're represented, this ensures casting teams can reach you or your representatives directly, which is how they act on last-minute replacements and future planning alike.
