# Organisation FAQs
### **What is Operabase and how can it benefit my organisation?**
Operabase is a performing arts database used by casting directors, artistic administrators, festivals, orchestras, competitions and venues. It brings casting, programming, discovery and audience engagement together in one place.
### **How Operabase benefits your organisation**
- **Casting and programming:** use the Casting Tool and Talent Search to find artists based on repertoire, availability, experience and professional profile.
- **Visibility:** your organisation, productions and artists are shown to audiences and industry professionals.
- **Ticketing:** add ticket links to your productions so audiences can go directly to your box office.
- **Visibility insights:** track page views, searches and impressions through your Visibility Report.
- **Collaborations and rentals:** work with other organisations, festivals and venues, or list a production for rental.
### **Who at our organisation can have access? Does every colleague need their own subscription?**
Everyone at your organisation with a work email address has access to all Pro Tools under a single Organisation Premium subscription; no individual subscriptions are needed.
### **How current is the casting data, and where does it come from?**
Casting data comes from productions added by organisations themselves, from performance credits added and corrected by artists and agents, and from material submitted through Add/Edit. Performances can be verified through Red Mask.
### **Can we manage our own page, seasons and productions?**
Yes, you manage your organisation's page, seasons and productions directly.
### **How do availability and travel time work?**
They draw on an artist's published schedule and performance locations.
### **How do we list a production for rental, or find a co-production partner?**

### **What do visibility reports show, and can our marketing team use them?**
Impressions, page views and search appearances for your organisation's page and productions. Anyone on your team with access to the page can view them, including marketing.
