Production Rentals FAQs

The Operabase production rental database is the world’s largest. Companies, theatres and festivals can list their productions (sets, costumes and scores) for rent. This is viewed by the largest professional audience in the world looking for production rentals or co-productions. Contact information for rentals are listed by the companies, theatres and festivals. You can directly contact the companies, theatres and festivals if you wish to rent any production in part or whole.  

How do I use this feature?

Any production that has been listed in a company, theatre, or festival season information can be made “available” for rent in a single click. 

To make a production visible for rent:

  1. Log in to your Operabase PRO account and navigate to your organisation Edit page: Rentals tab.
  2. Select the production you wish to make available and use the toggle button to change the setting to “Available for rent”
  3. Select if sets, costumes and/or scores are available for rent with production as well
  4. Please add the contact the selected/specified person directly by using the “Show Contact Details” option

This will appear in the “Rentals” section on Operabase for companies to view and contact you directly.
