Quick Guide: Adding a New Production

How do I add myself to a production on Operabase?

There are two ways to get started, and both lead to the same form:

• Use Add/Edit directly: on larger screens, click Add/Edit in the top bar; on smaller screens, find it through search or the menu.
• Go via your profile: log in to your Operabase profile and, in Edit, click Performance Credits.

If you opt to add via your profile:

1. Click Add a Production, then choose Quick Add.
2. Fill in all required details in the Quick Add form.
3. Upload or paste supporting evidence, such as links, programmes, press or documents.
4. Click Submit.

What if the musical works aren't fully announced yet?
You can still create the production before the full programme is announced, then add the musical work details once they're released. See Adding a Production with an Unannounced or Partial Programme (for Artists) for the full process.

How are productions with an unannounced or partial programme displayed?
They are not hidden. Instead, labels indicating the missing programme appear on production cards, production pages and quick view, so the display stays accurate rather than incomplete-looking.
