# Recovering forgotten password
1. Go to the Operabase [login](https://operabase.com/login) page.
2. Below the login form, you'll see an option that says "**Forgot password?**" Click on it.
3. You'll be prompted to enter the email address associated with your Operabase account. Enter your email address and click “**Reset Password**”
4. Check your email inbox for a message from Operabase. This email will contain a link to reset your password.
5. Click on the password reset link in the email. You'll be taken to a page where you can create a new password for your account. Please note that the link in the email expires.
6. Choose a strong and secure password, enter it in the provided fields, and confirm it.
