Video Guidelines

Your organisation page's video section is divided into three SECTIONS.

Livestream & Full performance videos

Under this section, you can show or hide videos. Videos here are attached to a production in your season — they'll display not only on your organisation page but also on the profiles of the artists who were part of the cast and crew, maximising visibility.

To add videos to this section:

1. Log in to your Operabase account and go to your page
2. Click Edit and select the Seasons tab
3. Add your live stream or full performance video link directly to the production in your season 

Video clips, trailers & season announcements

Under this section, you can show/hide, add, edit, and delete videos — short clips or general videos such as excerpts, trailers, behind-the-scenes moments, and season trailers.

To add videos to this section:

1. Log in to your Operabase account
2. Click Edit and select the Videos tab
3. Add your video link directly to the production in your season or,
4. Add the video directly to this section:
   1. Click Add video
   2. Insert a link or upload a video then click Add
   3. Fill in the details and select which section you’d like the video to appear. If you select Add to company video, the video will be displayed as a general video clip. If you select Add to production you can search the musical work that you want to attach the video to and it will be displayed under production videos and on the profiles of all artists who participated in that production.

Displaying Videos on the Media Widget:

To have a video appear on the media widget of your overview page, follow these steps:

1. Log in to your Operabase account and click on "Edit."
2. Navigate to the "Organisation Info" tab.
3. Add the video under “Video about your organisation.”
4. Select the checkbox “Mark video about as primary on media widget.”

Production videos

Under this section, you can show/hide and add videos.

To add videos to this section:

1. Log in to your Operabase account
2. Click Edit and select the Videos tab
3. Add your video link directly to the production in your season or,
4. Add the video directly to this section:
   1. Click Add video
   2. Insert a link or upload a video then click Add
   3. Fill in the details and select which section you’d like the video to appear. If you select Add to company video, the video will be displayed as a general video clip. If you select Add to production you can search the musical work that you want to attach the video to and it will be displayed under production videos and on the profiles of all artists who participated in that production.
5. To delete a video from this section:
   1. Click the Seasons tab and search for the production that has the video
   2. Delete the video from the section it was added either Production poster & trailer or Production videos
