Getting Started: Claiming & Sharing Your Artist Profile
How do I know if I already have a profile on Operabase?
Go to operabase.com/artists/en and search your name in the top search bar.
How do I claim my profile?
- Log in to Operabase.
- Enter the 4-digit security code sent to your email on the login screen. Never send the code or your password by email; Operabase will never ask for them.
- Select the tools you'd like to use. If you are part of an organisation, add your email address to access your organisation page; otherwise choose to claim an existing profile.
- Search for your name and select your profile from the list. If it doesn't appear, you can create a new profile instead.
- Select your profession and complete registration.
I'm told I'm trying to claim more than one profile
Email contact@operabase.com naming the one profile that is yours; we will detach any others linked to your address.
Who can I share access with?
Anyone you'd like. Anyone you share access with will be able to edit information on your profile.
Why do I need an Operabase profile?
Your artist profile is a verified listing of your performance history, upcoming performances, repertoire and contact information, used by casting and artistic directors and by artist managers and agencies to find and contact you. You can also present future repertoire or ready-to-debut roles, retire roles you no longer perform, and add videos, photos, reviews and a biography.
I've claimed my profile. What now?
See Navigating & Managing Your Artist Profile for how to get back into it and what you can manage in Edit.
